Anam Husain’s collection reimagines Rajasthan’s Kathputlis to explore patriarchy through caged silhouettes, puppet-like geometry, and grainy, eroded textures. Crafted from 1000 kg of repurposed denim and discarded furnishings, it becomes a quiet study of decay, memory, and reinvention.

A sculptural panelled dress created using the subtraction cutting technique, where form emerges through absence. Voluminous yet fluid, it plays with negative space to create organic movement and unexpected silhouettes. Each piece is one of a kind, shaped by instinct and improvisation.
